This is the second time that Roger has done an inspection for me in the past few months, and I have been extremely pleased. He came recommended by my highly capable and respected real estate agent.

One of the properties I was planning to buy had a long-term moisture and mold issue under the house that was a real mystery as to the source of moisture. The issue was there as far back as the early 2000's but no one had been able to understand or solve the problem. Without this clarity there was no way I was going to buy the house. Aside from transparently laying out the issue and the risks for us at the end of the inspection, Roger went above and beyond in helping us get to the root cause of the issue. He went to the house multiple times to test different theories and talked to me on the phone several times. Of all the many experts we talked to, Roger was the one who was finally able to provide clarity on the source of the problem. This enabled us to get the right estimates for fixing the problem, which were then factored into our successful negotiation for the house.

On the second property, Roger found mold on the wooden beams in the attic, but based on the growth pattern was able to tell that the mold was very likely old mold from when the wood was in the timber yard decades ago. It's that attention to detail, intelligence and pragmatism that I have been so impressed with.

On both inspections Roger and his trainees (one of whom is his daughter) were very respectful of the home, wiping their feet on a special mat, wearing shoe covers, turning off lights and putting everything back in its place. He gave a thorough verbal debrief at the end of the inspection which was followed by a detailed written report. The snacks that he brought for us during the inspection were a thoughtful little bonus! I highly recommend Roger and will be calling him for every inspection I do in the future.

We are first time homebuyers and All Points was recommended to us as a home inspection company with a couple others. After reading the information on all the websites I was very impressed with everything that was included on the All Points website. They had a very open book and up front feel. Roger had all of his background information available and that was impressive easing fears of having him do our inspection.

When Roger came with his team we were blown away by the efficiency of the work they did.making us feel at ease and even explaining many of the smallest details to us. He gave us lots of info on upkeep of our home and small things to look for. He also used his own experiences as a homebuyer in recommendations he offered for us. We were so pleased with the work they did and I even asked them to look at a couple things outside of home inspection which they did with a smile.

They really made me feel like I am making a great choice for my family! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a home inspector!

We asked Roger to complete an inspection on a new home that we were buying (even though the builder and sales team tried to tell is it was an unnecessary expense!). He was extremely thorough. He found just a couple of things that we had the builder correct before we finalized the purchase. However, he also walked us through all the things we could to properly maintain our home over the years. Peace of mind and an education. We are so thankful that we hired All Points Inspection!!!

The first person we thought of for help was our inspector.  We’ve been in the house for over a year and it was very early but he quickly returned our call and helped us locate and remove the bad smoke detector. Silence finally! It’s good to know that when you said call anytime for any reason and that you would be there for us you meant it. Thank you Roger, you were there for us!
